Anthony Edwards Instagram video post comment viral

Anthony Edwards, guard of the Minnesota Timberwolves, made a homophobic comment on Instagram later deleted the post. He  is feeling remorseful about what he said.

Edwards, 21, tweeted an apology on Sunday for calling a group of people “queer” in an Instagram story video that he appeared to film from inside of a car. He said he was sorry for using the word and that it was a mistake.

A man in a car is driving and sees some people standing on the street. He says, “Look at these queer ass n—-s, man.” He is surprised at what the world has come to. . “Look at what the world done came to, bruh.”

Someone posted a video on social media that showed Edwards doing something bad. Edwards then deleted the video.

“What I said was immature, hurtful, and disrespectful, and I’m incredibly sorry,” Edwards tweeted Sunday. “It’s unacceptable for me or anyone to use that language in such a hurtful way, there’s no excuse for it, at all. I was raised better than that!”

The Timberwolves are not happy with Edwards.

“We are disappointed in the language and actions Anthony Edwards displayed on social media,” the team said in a statement attributed to team president Tim Connelly. “The Timberwolves are committed to being an inclusive and welcoming organization for all and apologize for the offense this has caused to so many.”
